Where can I find you?
I tattoo at Gypsy Blood Tattoo in Daybrook, Nottingham. 20 Mansfield Rd, NG5 6AA.
How much do you charge?
£80 per hour, £400 for a full day (50% deposit required for full day bookings)
Are consultations free?
Yes! You can book in person or by email. If you can’t make it to the studio, I’m happy to arrange online video consultations.
Do I need to pay a deposit? How much are they?
Yes, I have to take deposits before I can book an appointment. For multiple session tattoos, this is £80 in advance. This is deducted from the last session so you can book more than one appointment. Tattoos that take one hour or less require up to 50% in advance. For a full day booking, I take 50% in advance (£200). There are terms and conditions regarding deposits which I will email to you when you book an appointment.
Is there anything I should do before I get tattooed?
Yes, make sure you’re sober, well fed and clean! You can bring sugary snacks if you like, but you have to share!
Can I use numbing cream?
I prefer it if you don’t, as I don’t know what’s in them or how it affects the tattooing and/or healing process. Plus they can wear off during the tattoo session, and that can make it more sensitive. If you choose to use these products, it’s at your own risk, and I refuse to accept responsibility for any adverse effects.
Can I bring my child to my appointment?
Sorry but no. Tattoo studios are for over 18’s only. Please arrange for some childcare if you’re getting tattooed by me.
What happens afterwards?
The tattoo will be dressed so it’s clean, and you’ll be given written aftercare instructions, which I’ll go through with you. I sell a trusted brand of aftercare ointment at the studio for £5, or if you prefer I can recommend a good aftercare product to you.
Do you do discounts?
New clients get 20% off their first session, and if they refer friends or family to me, they get 20% off their next session. This is the ONLY discount I offer as standard unless it’s a promotion I’m doing. I do not haggle or barter on prices, so please don’t attempt this. GOOD TATTOOS ARE NOT CHEAP, AND CHEAP TATTOOS ARE NOT GOOD.
